"A violin belongs to the Violin family of instruments which include the Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass.  Interestingly, an alternative name for the Archtop Guitar was Cello Guitar but this is not used much today. I learned to make violin because in doing so i would learn and develop the skills and techniques to carve Archtop Guitar plates."
